Hi guys! So you may have known my blog, my jewelry & accessories line, and pretty much everything I put my name on as "Steffi Glam" for the past year. Well I've decided to go a different route this year. New year, new look. I've actually been brain storming for quite a while for a name that really represents me and my line. I started out with Steffi Glam as something cute & easy at the time, but as my business grows so do I. SO...with that being said I will no longer be using "STEFFI GLAM" though I will forever love my first company name, it's been retired. My jewelry and accessories line will now be known as...... NATIVE HEARTS. It means something to me, it's a name to be cherished, and that it will be. I will be creating a new blog under my new company name, as well as a facebook page, twitter page, and email. Listed below is where you can now find me. It's a work in progress so don't be frightened by the bareness of what currently lies amongst these social networks! I just want to thank everyone SO much for all of the support they have given me this far, and I'm in hopes you all will continue with me on my new journey. :)

As I was doing my daily web surfing earlier this week, I went to one of my favorite sites of course...Joes Jeans. On the front page they had a new fit advertised, and let me just tell you I jumped out of my seat I was so excited about it! It's called The Skinny Micro Flare. It's a skinny jean with a chic and sexy micro flare. The cut of the jeans gives an amazing silhouette and I actually think it's cute both with heels or flats! It's set to hit stores in March, and I'll be the first to rock it! I'm really excited to (hopefully) get this fit in our Joes Jeans Las Vegas store because I think it's going to be a great and fresh fit for so many women. I mean honestly..have you ever seen anything like it before!? Nope, didn't think so. If your in the area of the LV outlet, or one of the other Joes Jeans stores I'm begging you PLEASE stop in and try this fit! I promise you won't leave empty handed :) Check out some photos I found of The Skinny Micro Flare!
I love how Maria Menounos rocks The Skinny Micro Flare with basketball shoes!

Last night I google tutorials to try and figure out how to make elastic flower heandbands. I came across a youtube tutorial from Snazziedrawers that was probably the easiest tutorial I've ever seen! Looking at all the beautiful headbands on etsy I never imagined I'd be able to make my own, but after watching this tutorial I had faith in myself I could do it! I then searched Snazziedrawers on etsy, as well as checked out the Snazziedrawers blog. Oh my..this lady is SO talented! I just wanted to share a quick few shots of a headband I really fancy by Sanzziedrawers.
Check out her etsy shop & pick up your own Snazziedrawers headband!

Latest Obsession

So as you may know I work at Joes Jeans Las Vegas in the Las Vegas Premium Outlets. I began working at Joes Jeans in August 2010 and I couldn't tell you how blessed I am to have found this job! Honestly, I didn't know much about Joes Jeans before I started working there except they made leggings because I had two pairs I purchased off www.hautelook.com. Just walking into Joes Jeans for the first time I knew this was home. The atmosphere was so hip and laid back, and I definitely felt like I fit in right away. After being hired I really realized that Joes Jeans was more than just jeans. The company has expanded into other outlets such as tops, outwear, shoes, and accessories! As each monthly shipment arrives I get over joyed and giddy like it's Christmas day. In one of our latest shipments we got in a lot of light denim that I really fancy. I've purchased a couple wardrobe must haves such as light and destroyed kickers, which on me look more like a "boyfriend" capri which I love. I have to say though my absolute biggest obsession is our Best Friend in Blanchett. This is a light destroyed denim jean that looks great rolled or unrolled. I LIVE in my best friends! I would highly recommend going to one of the Joes Jeans Retail/Outlet stores and picking up a pair of best friends for yourself. They're an absolutely wonderful jean for any season! Check out the pictures provided by www.revolveclothing.com of my best friend obsession.

Roommate Troubles?

Any of you have a roommate you just can't stand? That's where I am at this current point and time and it's truly weighing heavy on me. I decided to blog about it to see how others handle a situation like this. For a while things were fine but his bad habits have gone into overload and I'm spiraling out of control! You see, I currently live with my boyfriend...and his pesky roommate. He's the kind of roommate that not only complains about EVERYTHING, he has an opinion about EVERYTHING. That's probably the most annoying thing about this whole situation. But you see another thing is really weighing heavy on me, and you may think I'm being a bit silly but here it goes...my grandmother bought me a really nice silverware set, cooking set (pots 'n' pans), and my mom gave me all of the dishes and cups. Well considering they were brand new and gifts from my family I cherish them with all that I have, and I take pride in finally living on my own and having my own things. Now you tell me, wouldn't you want to take care of things like this? Clean them right after you use them, and put them away? Well this roommate doesn't seem to think so. He will leave things like that in the sink for WEEKS until finally my boyfriend or I have to clean them. Oh and lastly, he decided to quit his job three months ago because he couldn't handle the people he worked with...well now that I think about it was probably his co-workers that couldn't stand him! So now, he just sits in the spare bedroom (which by the way he pretty much turned into his second room, that I always feel uneasy going into) and creates music all day. I will say that is the only thing I believe he has talent in but at least right now..ITS NOT GOING TO GET HIM ANYWHERE! So I really wish he would just go out, look for a job, score one if that's even possible, so then everytime I come home..he won't ALWAYS be there. I know this was a bit much, but I need help. Please..if you have/had trouble with a roommate share with me how you were able to handle the situation. I'm DESPERATE! Thank you all for reading, and have a fabulous Monday!

I wanted to blog about an amazing flat I recently came across at my local Gap. It's called "The City Flat", and to be honest, I had found these online before I went in to Gap to try them for myself. I was a little skeptical at first because I didn't believe there could be such thing as a stylish and comfortable flat (besides my toms). But after reading so many great reviews I decided to find out what all the buzz about these flats. Boy was everyone right! These flats are absolutely amazing and at a great price point for it's comfort, $39.50. They come in 11 amazing colors, and I highly recommend you go check them out for yourself! You won't be disappointed I promise.
